I’m Jeremy Mutha Fuckin’ Thompson

In 2002 I started to photograph this beautiful girl I know. She had a great collection of Fetish wear. Every time she'd get something new, I had to have a picture of her in it. When I would get these pictures back, my heart would begin beating so hard, it seemed as if it wanted to burst out of my chest to look at the pictures too.

After picking up new proof sheets, I would have to look at them about every two minutes, again and again, just to check if they were as hot as I remembered, and they were! I had to have more.

This newfound happiness had to be nurtured and after some time I started shooting more women. With the help of photographer David Gaz, I got my hands on better equipment and went to town. I started asking girl friends of mine if they'd let me take their picture. I'd hate to say, "pose" because I really don't like artificial situations. I always do location shoots and I mainly use natural light. For the spontaneity I crave from the model as well as myself, I need a natural setting. Fetish is obviously about desire; I try to convey the desire I feel during my shoots into each image I produce.

I didn't really know anything about photography as a business but I knew I wanted these pictures to amount to something. I went to Eric Kroll, whom I had never met, and told him I wanted a book. He's been very kind and helpful, not at all what I expected.

My work has been published in Skin Two Issue #45 and Secret Fetish Anthology 4. I plan on finishing the photography for my book in early 2005. In the meantime I'm enjoying the gallery circuit. The prints I show are limited, thus very special. When they're gone, that's it.

Trapping these beautiful women in film for the world to see has been very gratifying. I hope that viewing these photographs is as pleasurable for you as it was for me taking them.
