WANYU CHOU

Born in 1974 in Taiwan, Wanyu studied Chinese folk dance and then later received formal dance training at the National Taiwan Academy of Art.  Due to dance injuries, Wanyu moved to California in 1992 and continued her art education earning an AA in Fine Art from Santa Monica College and a BFA in Illustration from California State University, Long Beach.  Wanyu now devotes herself full-time to painting and illustration in her downtown Los Angeles studio.
