Interview with Aron Meynell (Culture Wire)
Check out Aron Meynell‘s interview with Culture Wire, an SFGovTv Production for the SF Arts Commission. Aron speaks about his show at Shooting Gallery, entitled ‘…Sleep…’, which just opened this Saturday alongside C3′s show ‘Tempest Horizon.‘ At one point Meynell explains that any of the charcoal drawings could be erased with the wipe of a hand, a fact that makes each one seem like a delicate image frozen in time, protected from the world in simple frames.
.I think his paintings are really scary, if you watch them one after another, there is a sense that this is a horror film. But I like it. Especially with the tree and “Beached” very strong ! Pictures ARE strange and exciting. artist demonstrates his mysterious world through these pictures, expresses his feelings. And he has very beautiful eyes ! Aron happiness and love.
