How old were you when you started painting?
15 and it has all been down hill since.

What inspires you?
I hate advertising. But I love it as well. I am most happy wandering through the aisles of supermarkets and department stores looking at the endless colourful packages.

What’s your favourite material?
I mostly use acrylic or house paint on various surfaces.

Does music ever inspire your paintings, name a track?
Misfits ‘Mommy Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight?’

What does the term ‘street art’ mean to you?
Street art is now more of a style rather than a way of making art. I think we are all just making art and the term ‘street’ has been tacked on to describe our ‘guerrilla’ approach to it.

What’s the first thing you reach for in the morning?
Erica.

You’re living in Toronto at the moment, what’s the best thing about being an artist in Toronto?
It’s really cool, but the best thing right now is that I don’t know so many people, so it gives me the opportunity to concentrate on making art.

Finish this sentence: ‘If I wasn’t an artist I would be a ….’
Circus clown.
