Australian artist, Ben Frost, opened his solo show “See Inside Box for Details,” this past Saturday which features works on canvas and found product packaging, including prescription, candy, and cereal boxes. Painted atop are logos, icons, and characters from popular culture presented in an often confronting way, critiquing our media-obsessed society and loss of innocence through advertising. Among Ben’s friends and family that made a special trip for the opening, were local artists Jack Howe and Kool Kid Kreyola. “See Inside Box for Details,” will be on view through September 29th at Shooting Gallery; visit us anytime Tuesday through Saturday, 12-7pm.
