Anthony Michael Sneed x Paper Monster x Shooting Gallery
Limited Edition Print Release for the San Francisco LGBT Community Center
Artist Anthony Michael Sneed has teamed up with Paper Monster to release a limited edition print of his work – available in conjunction with the opening of his solo show, Grand Illusion, this weekend at Shooting Gallery. Sneed has graciously offered to donate the full portion of his proceeds from all print sales to San Francisco’s LGBT Community Center at the closing of the show. We invite you to help support this effort by reposting this information, using the appropriate channels, to help create awareness and participation in the project.
The print is available online through Paper Monster, and a framed edition will be available to view in the gallery Tuesday-Saturday, 12-7 p.m. throughout the month of July.
The prints are 22.5 x 34 inches, in a closed edition of 50.
Available for $130, through Paper Monster (http://papermonster.net/).
More After the Jump!
From The SFLGBTCC’s Development Director, Gayle Roberts:
“Gay, straight, or somewhere in between, artists have always been cultural agents of change: working for greater tolerance, compassion and self-expression, values that define who we are as an LGBT and allied community. The San Francisco LGBT Community Center is therefore very pleased to welcome Brooklyn-based artist Anthony Michael Sneed to the Bay Area, and we are grateful for his support in helping build a stronger, healthier and more equitable world for all Americas. Proceeds from the sale of his artwork will be used to support a critical safety net of community services, including hot meals for homeless queer youth and job-seeking support for unemployed adults.”
From Justin Giarla, Owner/Curator of Shooting Gallery:
“We are excited to be hosting Anthony’s first solo exhibition in the Bay Area, and are proud to stand behind him as he works to support a member of our own community here in San Francisco. Please join us in making this project as successful as possible.”
