Shooting Gallery Project Space is pleased to announce Give Me What I Can’t Have, a new solo show by San Francisco-based artist Helen Bayly.
Give Me What I Can’t Have, (Because That’s What I Want), is an exhibition inspired by romance and fantasy. It explores the epic and likewise unattainable nature of desire. Through classical romantic imagery laced with gold leaf text, Bayly plays with seduction and sarcasm.
Featuring paintings of acrylic and metal leaf on canvas, and a small scale installation.
